Jim Cornfoot is a talented musician who is a knowledgeable, professional and gifted teacher. He handles well teaching kids of various ages, and in his likeable, personable and FUN! manner Jim has an ability to "get to work" while also making the lesson enjoyable for the kids. My two children who were taught by Jim experienced a rekindling of their joy of music in their lessons with him, (no small thing!) which speaks to Jim's own personal passion and love of music.

Our 13 year old daughter was transitioning from Suzuki lessons to traditional piano lessons, and we were looking for an instructor whose expectations could give her the push she needed to practice more and learn more theory. We were so pleased with Jim's knowledge and talent that we asked him to give voice training to another daughter. In both cases, our daughters flourished under his instruction. We are currently ending our third year with Jim and looking forward to many more.
